Mascagni was known for his provocative use of new materials in furniture designs such as skai (PVC) and aluminium. The padded skai exterior which presents as a white vellum parchment is trimmed with polished aluminium. Rectangular case on four tapered legs. Three locking doors, each having inset mirror on the reverse of each door. Left and right are open compartments fully lined like the exterior; middle door opens to reveal three drawers lined with blue textured skai.
